Beth Casady Joins Board of Directors for Teaching Family Homes of Upper Michigan

Marquette, MI – Teaching Family Homes of Upper Michigan (TFH) welcomes Beth Casady to their Board of Directors.  Beth is Director of Operations and Government Relations for the Upper Peninsula Health Plan, a health-care benefit administrator for residents and businesses in the Upper Peninsula.  The health plan also provides managed care for more than 25,000 enrollees in Michigan Medicaid and MIChild. She is Certified in Healthcare Compliance and holds a B.A in Communication Studies from Carroll College, Helena MT and an MPA from Northern Michigan University.   She is a member of the Marquette Breakfast Rotary and resides in Marquette with her husband, Jim Cantrill.

Casady joins the board at TFH stating that, “TFH is such an essential organization and resource for the Upper Peninsula.  It helps struggling children, young adults, and families to become whole through their varied programs.  I love that TFH provides such a nurturing environment for children and promotes foster care/adoption for children as well.  To help promote the TFH mission is a rewarding experience.”

Teaching Family Homes is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and certified by Father Flanagan’s Boys Town.  To learn more about Teaching Family Homes, visit www.teachingfamilyhomes.org.
